Timeclocks, Paperless Processes, Web Strategy
EAGAN, Minn., September 14, 2005 - TempWorks
Software, Inc. a leading provider of integrated staffing software
solutions, today announced the agreement with Penmac Personnel
Services to integrate its enterprise solutions throughout its
network of over 40 offices in seven states across the country.
Headquartered in Springfield, Mo., Penmac has attained an extensive
list of exclusive business awards, rankings and recognitions. Among
several in 2005, Penmac was recognized for the sixth consecutive
year by Inc. 500 as one of the fastest growing privately-held
companies in America.
"After an extensive vendor evaluation process, Penmac ultimately
determined it was looking for a long-term partner who offered a
feature rich front-and back- office solution that provided the
ability to customize the system to fit its business needs, while
also leveraging available web services. Penmac's decision to
implement the TempWorks integrated solutions including Web Portal
and TwX, the browser-based front end, was based on several factors
including system functionality, technology and customization
capabilities," said Matt Gallagher, VP of Sales for TempWorks
Software. In addition, Penmac's business model required the
flexibility TempWorks was able to offer with its daily pay
features. In planning for its aggressive growth strategy, the solid
Microsoft .Net framework and proven technology, which offered
maximum scalability for expansion, also played a significant role
in Penmac's selection process.
"I am delighted about the new partnership we have formed with
Penmac Personnel. Located in Springfield, Missouri, the "Show Me"
state, President Patti Penny & Application Systems Analyst Mark
Gullett really did make us show them the advantages of TempWorks
over their previous application, TempWare from VCG. TempWorks
continues to attract VCG users making the move from both their
TempWare and StaffSuite products onto TempWorks Solutions," said
Mark Baratto, EVP of TempWorks Software. "The addition of Penmac
now brings the total number of VCG users migrating to TempWorks to
well over 800. With over half of these occurring within the last 12
months, the trend appears to be growing," Mark added.
"With our current software system, I am often confronted by things
it can't do. With TempWorks, I believe we will be left wondering if
there's anything it can't do," Said Mark Gullett, Application
Systems Analyst for Penmac.
Penmac plans to implement the integrated front-and back-office
solution along with the employee and client web portal, WebCenter,
across all branches by January of 2006. By taking advantage of the
TempWorks integrated web products such as WebCenter, Penmac will
enhance its tradition of establishing long-term relationships with
its clients, while broadening the offerings of its tailored client
packages. In addition, empowering its clients with more control
over their contingent workforce and the ability to access business
critical information online, Penmac hopes to be better positioned
for long-term growth and competing on a national level.
