Implementation Lays Groundwork for Success
Manpower of Central Illinois became a TempWorks Software client in August of 2016. Transitioning staffing agency data from one software platform to another can be incredibly challenging for many staffing agencies. For a staffing agency’s success upon software launch and for the continued success of the staffing business, it’s crucial to ensure that the data is extracted and mapped correctly. Manpower’s data extraction and implementation process was particularly challenging; however, due to the persistence and tenacity of the TempWorks team, Manpower of Central Illinois was able to go live with all the data that they needed to continue operations on schedule and without delay.

Fully Integrated Systems Build More Efficiencies
Leveraging a fully integrated staffing software system has allowed Manpower of Central Illinois to create additional efficiencies in their workflows. For example, the candidate intake process with TempWorks has been a game changer since they have gone live with the software. Now that they use HRCenter as a paperless onboarding solution, candidates can easily fill out the application either online or via a tablet at one of their seven offices. Candidate intake has become a very smooth process, which has increased candidate satisfaction with the onboarding process.
In addition to an efficient onboarding process, the customized reporting features have been a valuable tool for our franchise. In the past, a team member may ask how many missing time cards there are, and it would be a manual process to find the answer. Now my staff can simply pull the report that they need at any time. From a management level, TempWorks built custom reports so that I know where the business sits on any day with real-time data,” says Wood.
In October of 2017, Manpower of Central Illinois signed up for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit integration with Clarus Solutions, which is directly integrated into the TempWorks system. Previously, Manpower had always performed this function in house. The end of 2018 marked the first full tax year with the Clarus integration and Manpower of Central Illinois tripled the amount of tax credits that they received. In addition, the direct integration made the whole process easy and painless.
Payroll Processing Services Reduce Risk and Worry
Manpower of Central Illinois also leverages the payroll processing services through TempWorks Software. With TempWorks taking care of all payroll processing tasks, this has helped to reduce the risk of missing payroll or internal staff making potential errors that would result in late paychecks to temporary employees. By having TempWorks perform the payroll processing functions, it also saves the management time it would take to oversee an internal payroll staff, including having a back-up plan for staff turnover or absences.
