Over the last year, the TempWorks Software office has undergone a massive renovation to expand its footprint inside our Minnesota headquarters. With the new renovation completed, TempWorks Software now takes up the entire second floor of the office building in Eagan, Minnesota. Over the last three years, TempWorks has grown from 127 employees to approximately 180 employees, which meant we needed to update the current office space to accommodate the rapid growth in headcount.
The new renovation created a new lobby, a new kitchen and lounge area, a handful of new conference rooms, a Wellness room, and plenty of new cubicles and office space to meet the needs of our growing team. Most importantly, the new kitchen and lounge area gave our team the space it needs for a pool table, ping pong table, bean bag chairs and plenty of booth seating and high-top tables for lunches and company celebrations.
Another initiative that TempWorks kicked off is a fitness initiative through our healthcare provider. TempWorks employees that have our health plan could choose to sign up for a fitness program to earn money for their health savings account (HSA) by meeting walking goals each day. Throughout our new office space, we have footprint stickers on the floor as a helpful reminder to reach daily step goals! Not only does the initiative encourage reaching 10,000 steps per day, it also encourages employees to take frequent walks throughout the day and at least one brisk walk for 30 minutes daily.
