It’s always a good day when we receive positive recognition of any sort. Whether it be a two-sentence “kudos” email thanking an individual on our team, or the discovery of a major expansion that was possible for a client specifically because of our software, or winning a nationally-curated business award, we feel the same way: proud that our hard work within these walls enables success outside of our walls.
Last week we woke up to the news that the Stevie Awards, also known as the American Business Awards, had selected TempWorks as a “Company of the Year” winner in the Business Services category, earning a bronze distinction alongside such companies as Dice, AgreeYa, and SocialCode. This recognition puts us in the top 38 percent of the 3,400 companies who applied. Winners were determined by calculating the average scores of more than 250 professionals over the course of two months earlier this spring.
We’re thrilled to be considered a Business Services Company of the Year for the second year in a row. Our double win goes to show that awards are motivators as much as they are affirmations. If we want to keep winning (and keep exceeding client expectations), we need to grow, distinguish ourselves from previous iterations of ourselves, and strive for even better results.
